PARIS, November 22 ( French Ligue 1 )
Paris Saint Germain's impressive run continued as a perfect performance from the capital club saw them inflict
Olympique Lyon's second defeat of the season tonight.
Ludovic Giuly headed home in the 25th minute to secure his team's third victory on the trot and help them continue their push up the
Ligue 1 table.

It was an injury-hit Lyon side that turned up at the
Parc des Princes, which made it even more surprising that coach
Claude Puel decided to omit captain
Juninho from the starting line-up.
However, the former Brazil international did himself no favours when he was sent off 15 minutes after coming off the bench.
The seven-time reigning champions nevertheless started brightly and could have taken the lead with less than three minutes on the clock as first
Ederson and then
Karim Benzema had their efforts blocked.
There was to be more bad news for Lyon in the 12th minute as defender
Anthony Reveillere had to be stretchered off with suspected knee ligament damage and replaced by 17-year-old
Thimothee Kolodziejczak for his first Ligue 1 appearance.
Giuly gave
Paris St Germain the lead in the 25th minute as he nodded Marcos Ceara's perfect cross past Lyon goalkeeper
Hugo LLoris for his third of the season.
Olympique Lyon could have equalised 10 minutes later as
Kim Kallstrom nicked the ball off
Claude Makelele and released
Sidney Govou who saw his shot well saved by Paris' goalkeeper
Mickael Landreau.
Puel brought Juninho off the bench on the hour mark and he almost had an immediate effect but he volleyed over the bar six minutes later before seeing his 30-yard free-kick saved by Landreau.
However, Juninho was sent off in the 75th minute for a bad foul on
Sylvain Armand.
Lyon still could have equalised despite the numerical disadvantage as
Fred powered his way past two Paris' defenders four minutes from time, but Landreau did brilliantly to keep out his thunderbolt of an effort.
