Super sub Peter Crouch has given England manager Fabio Capello something to think about with his two goals against a good Egyptian side. Crouch has now scored twenty International goals in thirty seven appearances, an excellent return considering that he has came off the bench twenty times.
With only four months to go until the start of the World Cup Finals in South Africa does Capello know his best forward partnership? In the past England have been blessed with an amazing array of striking…

We thought we'll never come to this stage and seeing this kind of texts on some sites looked low to me some time ago.
But since recently, it's getting very hard to monetize web sites as global recession took away many Internet advertisers. Just few months ago we could bring in 300% more money for same level of traffic than today.

It was an important away match for Arsenal which was really important for them to win.Arsenal did walk away with a important win but at the cost of their young talent Ramsey.Horrific is the only word that comes to mind when i recall the moment when Ryan Showcross made that tackle on Ramsey.I am die hard Man Utd supporter and have no sympathies whatsoever with Arsenal but i felt extremely sad for the kid.He was a budding talent and certainly did not deserve it.No footballer deserves such an injur…

In the end Wayne Bridge bypassed his once best friend and moved onto the next Chelsea player.
Terry seems to have betrayed his ex Chelsea and England team-mate and his indiscretions have cost him the coveted England armband. However what would you have done???
Shook his hand and slap Terry on the back?? Let Bygones be bygones?? Be the consumant pro??
Ignored your old mate and give him the cold shoulder?
Or wheel back and smack Terry right in the nose?

Greetings,
As we all saw the match between Manchester united and Ac Milan, for lack of better word i would say fantastic game, mostly fair and kind of challenging for both sides,
Both sides showed great play, Milan mostly dominated the first 45 minutes of the game and they had their chances, though the only player who seemed to be doing all the work was Ronaldinho, he showed why he was chosen best player in the world and yet has a big name when it comes to soccer. Well done…

(Most things will be from the Chelsea point of view)
Everton 2-1 Chelsea.
Of course, it is always disappointing to lose the change to go 4 points at the top of the table. And if we lose to Aston Villa, things can get really complicated for us. Congratulations to Everton for a solid performance.
Also, in my opinion, the greatest left back in the world right now is injured for the rest of the season

I feel its time Spain will deliver on their promise and take their due place in soccer history as the double champions of Europe and the world. They have the best midfield in the game by a long distance, followed by a potent strike force and a brilliant shot stopper. All they needed was to taste glory and that they did in the Euros.Be ware all you pretenders, the Spaniards are geared up to become Numero Uno. Continue

IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT FABIO CAPELLO HAS SACKED JOHN TERRY AS ENGLAND CAPTAIN. THIS IS A BIG BLOW FOR TERRY BUT I THINK THE BIG LOOSER HERE IS GOING TO BE CARLO ANCELOTTI! TERRY WILL INEVITABLY BE DEVASTATED BY THIS DECISION AND HOW DO U NAVIGATE THAT AT A CRUCIAL TIME OF THE SEASON? CHELSEA SHOULD GIVE JT SOMETIME OFF TO CLEAR HIS HEAD OR RISK THEIR SEASON FALLING APART. AND IF ENGLAND WANTS TO DO WELL IN THE WORLD CUP THEY SHOULD LEAVE JOHN TERRY BEHIND OR THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A DISJO

THERE IS THIS NEWS IN THE ENGLISH MEDIA THAT ROONEY BE HANDED THE ENGLISH CAPTAINSHIP. THAT WILL BE A WRONG MOVE I THINK IF U ASK ME! BECAUSE ROONEY IS A PLAYER THAT ALWAYS WANTS TO WIN AND HE IS A STRIKER,STRIKERS TEND TO LOOSE CONFIDENCE WHEN THEY ARE GOING THROUGH A GOAL DROUGHT (I HOPE ROONEY DON'T) IT'S INEVITABLE 4 STRIKERS TO HAVE SOME KIND OF DROUGHT SOMETHIMES. WHEN THAT HAPPENS ROONEY BEING MISTER WIN WIN THAT HE IS,IS BOUND TO LOOSE HIS HEAD. I THINK THEY SHOULD STICK WITH TERRY OR BE…

The loan deal for Landon Donovan from Los Angele’s Galaxy to Everton may have gone under the radar for many but already it looks like it may be a shrewd move by manager, David Moyes.
Initially for only 10 weeks, already player and manager are pushing to make the move permanent such has been the ease of the USA captain’s transition to Goodison.
Since joining the Merseyside club Donovan has been impressive; laying on the equalizer against Arsenal on his debut, playing out the whole 90 minutes ag…

It has been a pretty dreadful year for the Scottish football loving public.
Boozegate, Boyd, Iwelumo miss, Norway hammering and Burley contributed to yet another major, tournament qualification failure. Not since 1998 in France have our national team graced a greater stage than the Kirin cup.
But we have a new man reigns in Craig Levien and optimism springs eternal. Not exactly. There is a cold hard pragmatism shared by the fans and media.
The message is clear “New man, same team”.
While the…

Gabon go into their last first round fixture knowing that a draw will be sufficient to ensure qualification to the quarter finals.
If they lose to Zambia they shall have four points, and if Cameroon win against Tunisia Cameroon shall have six and Tunisia just the two. If Tunisia win their last game they shall have five points and shall progress with Zambia who shall also progress due to the tournament head to head rules.
However, all these permutations wil…

Giovanni Dos Santos is only 20 years old but already there is a feeling that the young Mexican is not meeting his true potential. Undeniably gifted as a footballer he can entrance his many fans with mesmerizing runs and confound opponents with beautiful skills and trickery.
Unfortunately, lately he has a failed to demonstrate his artistry mainly due to poor form, injury or not being given the opportunity by his team boss.
Last year Harry Redknapp snapped up the midfielder from Barcelona (the…

If the English Premiership is the best the football League in the world then consider this; only 3 Mexicans have ever scored in the Premiership in its history. Also these between these 3 player’s : Jared Borghetti, Carlos Vela and Guillermo Franco they have amassed a grand total of 5 goals between them. Admittedly, Vela is still young and much is hoped for him in the future and Franco only joined West Ham in the last 6 months, but it still begs the question ;
“Why are Mexicans not succeeding…

Immediately after Craig Levein had been introduced as the next Scottish national team manager and the inevitable questions were asked on the possible re-inclusion of the boozegate duo and Kris Boyd.
All three have been noticeable absentees during Scotland’s ill-fated World Cup qualification campaign.
Currently Kris Boyd is the Scottish Premier League (SPL) top scorer and is a few goals away from taking over Henrik Larsson as the all time SPL top goal scorer. All though never as creative or ski…
