In Van Persie's absence, Arsenal have scored only 1.77 goals per league game, as opposed to 3.26 before his injury.  If we hit those sort of figures again surely we are in with a chance at the title.  In know, with such little time left in the season we can't expect one man to make a difference... or can we?

Mr RVP is my favourite player of all time, & most definately his return will spike fire in the Gunners team.

Sincerely yours
MSP Captain
One V for another, Vermaelen out, Van Persie in. Hopefully not a serious injury to Vermaelen, not that it matters that much after tonight's result. Despite having such little time on the field I thought Van Persie looked sharp as ever tonight. His first touch was sublime. I think Tottenham were lucky to find Gomes with his gloves on the right hands tonight to produce the saves he did. Maybe would have been worth bringing him and Walcott on a little bit sooner but that's Wenger for you. Also feel that Almunia should probably have done better on their first goal. Typical that Spurs should take their first 3 points from Arsenal in a decade at such a crucial moment. But this, for me, is vintage Arsenal. I don't think any fan suffers as much as an Arsenal fan. We're so close yet so far away. In a strange way I hope that is the nail in the coffin now, if Arsenal win next week and Chelsea lose, my anxieties will start up again and I don't know if I cope with it all anymore
Yea it's a shame that we didn't get the proper result today. I like Almunia but we seriously need a new goalie. He shows up in clutch situations and does great in some games and makes world class saves, but in other games he will make a fluke mistake and give the other team the winning goal. I hope Arsene goes after Lloris. Van Persie was great and I really hope he performs fantastically in the upcoming weeks. Next season will be ours if injury woes don't get to us.
Van Persie was better after months than any of 20 fit players on the field tonight...
This is going to be my last post for a while, the goal of the season and superman gomes has brought arsenal's tittle challenge to an end......... i dont want to get in to the debate whether spurs deserved it..........
Any ways.............van persie showed what he can on the pitch and what arsenal has missed over the last five months.......its a shame.............
Well i am ready to put my neck on the line and make a statement.
Arsenal will only be better next year, and will be the best team in England ,if and if Van persie, Cese, Arshavin, Nasri, Song and Vermaeleen plays 30 out of the 38 matches, atleast..........what ever might be the opposition.......

I just hope that football remains loyal to its nature of leveling things over a period of time............

Anyways, it has been a gr8 experience talking to u Admin, wonderful footballing soul, Gary u too have impressed me a lot with ur football analysis and passion.....i also liked jackson carter a lot, he is a true kop......and my friend Thomas for his non stop supply of videos, gr8 stuff mate.......I will miss u all.....But its time for me and Arsenal to re think and review the season..........Arsenal will be a bigger threat next year, discounted injuries.........

Apart from that i wish Chelsea all the best for the tittle, they deserve it for the most consistent this year. Man utd fans can hardly claim their stake, although i take my hat off for rooney.

Coming back to my team, Arsenal, i will still continue to cheer them in the remaining matches and for the rest of my life and we will come back next season with a better tittle challenge, with all our guns blazing.

I will come back when the world cup starts, cheering for my fav country, SPAIN..........

Till then god bless all of u and keep the ball rolling.
all in all, it's just good to have van persie back. hopefully we can edge man u and get the second spot, at least.
