I fancy Arsenal's chances, they are peaking at the rite time. evn without Cese, van persie and gallas. Liverpool sud learn from them and atleast win the Europa league.

Barcelona for sure, winning 4/0 to Real in Bernabeu. The end of BusinessFootball.

haha everyone has said real madrid since the beginning.
ive maintained that my prediction is lyon against inter for the final since the group stages.
no one believed that lyon would beat real madrid but i wasnt surprised.
lyon are a class act and i think their current squad/manager have what it takes to make it to the final.
especially seeing as barca/chelsea/united/etc have failed to impress me.
yes united just won against milan 4-0. but you have to understand that milan were without key players. their solid defenders werent playing. pato wasnt in the starting line up. etc.
lyon have beaten liverpool (third highest CL wins in history - 5) and real madrid (highest CL wins in history - 9). two teams that have 14 champions league titles between them and quality players.
lyon have never won the champions league.
inter have jose mourinho. thats all i need to say about that.
we'll see what happens in the next round (and in the return leg of the inter chelsea match).

avishek: if theres anything I have learned about liverpools season this year its that one result cannot wipe out all of the other ones. just because almunia was okay in the last match doesnt mean that he wont slip up in the next fixture. a goalkeeper needs to be the base of the team. without a great keeper it wont matter how many goals you score.
he was nervy in the porto match. thats all i took from his performance. the team played well. but its long overdue. arsenal are youthful and full of talent. i wasnt surprised.

barca? a 1-1 draw with stuttgart wont get you to the champions league final.
they are probably wishing that they never traded etoo for ibrahimovic.

I agree with you, we need a gr8 goal keeper, not a good goal keeper, may be some one gr8 in the making like Joe Hart/sorenson/hugo lloris................ David james wud be a bargain, but only a short term solution, i guess Wenegr will go for someone like Joe hart who is young and unbelievable between the sticks.
Almunia is a gr8 shot stopper but some times his positioning for crosses and lay offs is questionable.
But Arsenal will stick to the policy- you score 3 we score 4. Haha..............

barcelona will probably not win this year. i rarely see the same club winning twice in a row. man u(if rooney is not injured) or chelsea is gonna win this year. i would say chelsea, since man u only has rooney. chelsea has more improved players
