yeah i think he would have made a huge difference, MU was lucky that he didnt get injured sooner, i think its gonna cost them the title, maybe like arsenal with fabregas and gallas.

I'm a Chelsea fan to the max, and Manchester United is a well respected team and a strong one too, but come on guys, let's be honest to ourselves here, as Jamiu Lawal said one man in an 11 player team can not make a difference...
Chelsea was on fire this season and specially this game, and they had to, because they know it's an important one! Chelsea was playing short too in this game, without Essien, A.Cole, Ivanovic, Bosingwa and Carvalho. Also Chelsea played most of the game without Drogba and Ballack, and still dominated the game to the final whistle.
With all respect to Wayne Rooney and his well recognized potentials, he as a person wouldn't make a difference! All I can say is, I hope he gets better soon and be able to participate in World Cup matches because we need him in the national team, and Chelsea played well, very well actually and deserved the 3 points up today, hope they'll win the title this season. -

i don't think it woulda made any difference, chelsea came to old trafford knowing that they had to take this game from them and that's exactly what they did, with motivation and hunger. Didier drogba just buried that last one and it was case closed. Not a lot teams can come to that stadium and dominate the game but chelsea can and just did that. Well deserved 3 points, if they had played like this all year long, they would be very far from even been compared to other teams but mistake was made by chelsea few weeks ago and mistake was corrected recently.

As I replied to your previous post made, I'll do the same to this one. When CR7 left all of you rejoiced and said Manu is now dead because the team was evolved around him. With all due respect I am a die hard Manu fan, but I would never say that arsenal and chelsea or liverpool are a one-man team. Chelsea and liverpool and arsenal both have more quality players than Manu by a mile, and they also have a deeper bench. With the kind of players chelsea got they should not be even fighting for the title as they are doing now. I just believe right now there isnt enough commitment from the manu players. I myself have been looking at the sloppy defending being put forward by Patrice Evra especially and its about time Ferdinand got his overated ass to the dumps. To me, I think Manu are doing quite well with the players we have compared to the star-studded powerhouse of chelsea who still managed to get eliminated from the CL and are still struggling to win the EPL, cos really it aint over till its over.

Chelsea have tons of players injured, did you check their starting players, half of their players are injured and i don think chelsea are struggling, you making a big deal outta rooney been injured, like he woulda beaten john terry and the rest of them cats. You guys forgot what happened to manu in the summer and early this year, they still LOST TO CHELSEA!!!!! and let me tell u..manu will lose CL, they had rooney and they still lost. I dont like how people acting like one starting player down and the team cant play. Chelsea deserved to win..its not over yet but they are on top of the league, either u like it OR U DONT..its the truth!! u guys just need to face it..i didnt see chelsea fans crying and making excuses when we were down so u guys shouldn't neither. And honestly, i like the competition to be this deep, if one team was way ahead of the rest of them then it wouldnt make it interesting to even watch it..but now, every team is fighting for the top spot, it just shows that the game has changed and everybody has a chance to win..which for me is way better games to watch.

it woulnt make a difference. it would still end as 1:2 with 2 goals from chelsea (possibly drogba) and one goal from rooney. i knew chelsea would win. well the title is announced

ARSENAL has a lot of players injured this season...and finally at the match i would say ur complete team was shattered ..if u saw the match they were not able to pass also properly..only paul scholes was great last night! !

He would because his positioning is excellent TBH. By the way, the way Man United plays is so original, cross, cross, cross all the game. Just cut the fuck out of Valencia, I'm sure they got stuck. But wait... some of MU player can go straight to the box and wait for contact too... phew
